Group of all students, and possibly faculty, posing outside College Hall. Individuals are not identified. Handwriting in ink featured along the edges of the matte. Caption: "Acadia University. Wolfville. Nova Scotia." Along the top: "(1) Freshman Class of '99. Mottoes:--Palmam qui mevuit ferat. Let him who has won & palm bear it." and "(2) Sophomores Class of '98 [motto] Studemics serire. We study to serve." and "(3) Juniors Class of '97" and (4) Seniors Class of '96". Along right margin: "College motto: Prodesse quam conspici. To be of use rather than to be observed." Along the bottom: "Class Yells." and "(1) Here we go, just so, always bound to shine, Here we go, Acadia the class of '99." and "(2) Right ahead, straight ahead, always up to date, Whoop her up, Acadia, the class of '98" and "(3) Hi! hi! hi! On us you may reply, X.C.V. I.I." and "(4) Razzle Dazzle, hobble gobble, bix, boo, bix, Here we are, Acadia the class of '96." Along the left edge: "College Yell:- Rah! rah! rah! yah! yah!! yah!!! Hurrah! Hurrah!! Acadia!!!"
