The Parrsboro Township Record Book

The Parrsboro Township Record Book was a handwritten record of births, deaths and marriages which occurred in the area between 1786 and 1822. It is also a record of livestock markings used by local farmers to identify their animals. Some business transactions are also noted. Thomas Shreve is identified on the first page of the book as the first town clerk. He later became the Rector of Parrsboro from 1787 until 1807. This record book consists of a total of 45 pages.
