Item is a bound notebook that outlines general considerations, the proposed scheme for tidal development, cost estimates, and an estimated return on investment. Included in the appendix are data pertaining to the cost of development, operating costs, transmission lines, rates for power, and submarine transmissions. The last section, entitled miscellaneous data includes correspondence between Professor Clarkson and the Holyoke Machine Co., as well as the Worchester Polytechnic Institute, a blueprint of the proposed transmission lines, a special report on ice conditions, a list of prominent stockholders, a blueprint of rock elevations at Cape Split, three photographs of Cape Split, and other material.
