Cape Split boat landing

Photo is annotated, recto, in ink: "Boat landing & bathing beach protected by Little Split – good chance here for road up mountain side. Height (sic) at top 360 ft approximately at this point. To the eastward further it is 550ft high". There are many annotations, verso, in pencil and ink, that give instructions to the engravers.
