Petition signed by John Coldwell (Caldwell?) and George Parker, requesting the appointment of a committee to study the need for the establishment of a Poor House in 'the Town'. The suggested committee members were: John Coldwell, W. H. Chipman, Nathan Parker and Dr. C. C. Hamilton.
