Chipman family

Description
The fonds consists records for the descendants of Handley Chipman, a Planter who arrived from New England in the mid-18th century and settled in an area of Kings County, Nova Scotia, now known as Chipman’s Corner. A separate series has been created for each member of the family that has records within the fonds. A partial genealogical chart, indicating the family relationships, is included as an appendix to the finding aid.
